Underwater photography Techniques
Underwater photography is a type of photography that requires a lot from the photographer. Whether you take water photos or people, coral reefs or icebergs, you will need to prepare yourself and find suitable equipment. Underwater photography requires that you understand the limitations and possibility that comes with the environment. How does the water affect your ability to see the object? Where will the light come from and how can you work with it? How close can and should you be to the subject in your shot?
When photographing the life in the ocean it is important to be informed about the different species and think of your responsibilities. Showing respect for your surroundings and being informed about potential rules and regulations is important in all genres of photography. When photographing coral reefs, for example, you will need to be cautious as to not disrupt the sensitive system of life.
When shooting scuba diving pictures it, of course, important to know the art of scuba diving and which risks might be involved. So make sure that you are fully prepared both in practice and in theory for your underwater adventure. We are sure that you will be able to capture stunning underwater photos!
